Harrison's High Potency Coarse is a certified organic bird food forumula for all medium and large parrots and comes in a nugget size just right for holding. High Potency Coarse can be a full time diet for birds such as African greys, large macaws, and Queen of Bavaria conures. It is also recommended for bids with special needs such as birds who are molting, who may be overweight or underweight, above average active birds, birds who are housed in a cold climates, birds who may be recovering from an illness or affected by liver or kidney disease.
High Potency formula is also recommended for breeding birds. Birds should be fed High Potency Formula 1-2 months prior to the breeding period and then until chicks are weaned, and may be continued for up to 6 months before changing back to Harrison;s Adult Lifetime Formula.
